Why Astronauts Do Exercise Daily in Space

Scientists in Space have to work in microgravity. Muscles and bones do not have to do as much work as they do on earth because of gravity and friction due to lack of Gravity and friction in space, their muscles and bones do not have to do much work which leads to muscle loss and decreases bone mineral density. To avoid this, scientists have to exercise for two and a half hours every day. Their exercise machines are specially designed so that they can exercise in microgravity.
